General information:

I have my M.A.Sc. (Master of Applied Science) degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria. I have my B.Eng. (Bachelor of Engineering) degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Victoria. My research interests include error control coding, cryptography, and communications.

I have extensive experience in real-time embedded hardware and firmware development, C/C++ programming, various assembly languages, VHDL, and Java. Past work experience includes firmware development, hardware design, Windows device driver programming, Windows application programming with MS Visual Studio, and software development for a real-time paging switch. Current Status:

I completed my Master’s degree in December, 2001.

As of March, 2002, I have accepted a position as a hardware and firmware design engineer with Power Measurement, located in beautiful Victoria, BC, Canada.
